Danish-based iGaming developer, Magnet Gaming recently announced that the company received approval From the United Kingdom Gambling Commission to operate within its jurisdiction on a Remote Gambling Software Operators Licence. The approval from the UKGC will allow the software provider to make its full portfolio of gaming titles available to casino operators within the UK’s borders.
Thomas Nielsen, Magnet Gaming game licensing head, said in his comments on their latest achievement that their licensing approval was crucial to his company’s expansion plans beyond the borders of their native Danish domestic market. He went on to say that the U.K.’s market remains one of the longest established, largest markets anywhere on the globe and its standards of regulations resultantly became extremely strict, and they were very proud of the trust bestowed in them through this licence. He further stated that they believe the step signifies a major stepping stone for them as they were confident their games would appeal to the new generations of slots players in Britain and their retention rates are certain to have a positive impact on the revenue generations of UK serving operators.
