Bermuda Triangle is an interesting game, mostly because of its theme though, which deals with the famous area in the Bermudas where many ships and airplanes have disappeared in the past. The game itself is a classic design, mixing a 3 reel layout with 5 paylines. The ocean, the stormy clouds and an old biplane airplane are all visible as soon as the game loads, giving you a pretty good idea of what the impending disaster might be. The game doesn’t give you much on top of that, since it has no major features to speak of.

Graphics & Theme

The theme choice is attractive, as there aren’t really that many options out there if you’re looking for a slot machine that focuses on the Bermuda Triangle. On top of that, the airplane that is flying into the storm as part of the logo looks cool enough, so I’ll give the game’s design some extra points because of that. Overall though, the design is pretty weak, with the quality of the symbols or the surrounding graphics being rather low. Not really sure if it’s just a very old game of it it’s intentionally designed this way to mimic the look of classic slots, but I didn’t find it that pleasant to look at or play on it. The reels and the betting options take the bottom part of the screen, with the logo and the paytable taking the top. Symbols include a sail ship, an airplane, sharks, an octopus and a dolphin.

Though there aren’t any major features for you to focus on, that’s usually not the idea anyway in a classic slot. I will mention the top jackpot combo though, and the way you can improve your odds of getting a big payday.

The combo which awards the top jackpot is composed of three sail ship symbols. There are a total of 5 paylines in the game, and each additional line you activate with a coin will have a bigger payout. If you choose to use only one coin, the most you can expect is a top jackpot of 400 coins. With more coins, the potential goes higher, with the maximum number of 5 coins bringing you a top jackpot in the 400 to 1000 coins range.

Overall

As a game that brings a new theme to the table, Bermuda Triangle should be a good choice. If you’re a sucker for a good design though, you might want to keep looking.
