Fountain of Youth brings around a fantasy like atmosphere into this game, a 3 reel classic that has 3 paylines available, but manages to appeal to its players well enough thanks to the elegant combination of symbols and the inspiration it gets from nature. Graphics & Theme

The fountain of youth is well known, as its water was said to provide the drinker with youth, something we all would want to have access to. It’s an elegant design, with a green abstract picture behind the main elements of the game, but with various types of plants and foliage on it and with green butterflies flying around. The fountain is found on the left side of the screen, with the game’s symbols being composed of various types of nature related images for the most part. That’s why you will see a lotus flower on the paytable, along with a frog, a blue bird, a butterfly and the fountain of youth. If you look at the symbols individually and with too much attention, you might find that they’re not that well detailed, but when you combine everything that appears on the screen you get a much better looking game than you might expect from a 3 reel classic slot.

Special Effects

Though the game doesn’t have any special features we can talk about, you still should know a few things about the way the game works. One of those things is the fact that with classic slots you often end up getting empty spots on the line, since the reels have them between each symbol. That means that you can’t actually get combos of three symbols on all three paylines, though it is possible to get two of them full with symbols, if the one in the middle has only empty spots. You get rewarded for simply having three symbols on the same line, no matter what they are, but obviously the reward is not very big.

It’s also recommended that you use the maximum number of three coins, as the top jackpot is better on the 2nd and 3rd paylines that can be unlocked here. It doesn’t make a difference with the others, but for the jackpot you will be happy if you used three coins.

Overall

It’s an elegant game, with no features as a classic should be, overall a title I would recommend to anyone that loves this type of game.
