The perfect game to put you into the mood for Christmas, at least if you enjoy the Dickens novel about the ghosts of Christmas that visit the old Scrooge, this slot has 5 reels and on them 20 paylines. It’s the kind of cartoon design that doesn’t look too appealing, but nobody can say that it’s a badly designed game.

Graphics & Theme

The game’s attractive enough, modern and with a 3D influence. Whenever a winning combo appears, you will find that there are animations in place for those symbols, adding to the experience that you have while playing. The characters found inside are the same ones from the story, Scrooge being a big part of it, but so is Death, the employee that’s working on Christmas Eve and his children. The playing cards that appear here are black letters on paper like scrolls, not that attractive to be honest. It’s a good game to be playing when the winter holidays are near, different from your usual Santa inspired slot machine, but still a classic that will help put you in the mood.

Special Effects

Scrooge is the one that acts as the wild, showing us a picture with him in the nightgown and looking at a gold coin, about the only time you would see him smile. You can get paid with its help, if it helps you form a paying combo, but it offers its own cash prizes. A minimum of two wilds on a line is sufficient to get you a small payout, which increases up to 10,000 coins when there are five wilds on the line.

The wall clock is the bonus round trigger, which has to appear on the same payline a minimum of three times. With 3+ bonus symbols, you gain access to the Ghosts of Christmas bonus game.
