Graphics & Theme:

The Graphics for Gladiator are absolutely outstanding with its 3D integration. You see vividly detailed images of the Colosseum and marble columns act as its betting and play controls, which we felt was rather fitting. The sounds build in anticipation of the battle and horns are heard in the distance as well. Each win is met with the symbols increasing in size on screen and drums will play as the reels are spinning. The game is heralded as a 3D slot but realistically it is not and is only 3D like.

Gladiators, their horses, gold coins, tigers, swords and shields, balls and chains, gold goblets, flags and a Colosseum act as the main symbols but a Princess, Colosseum door also are see and these are our bonus features icons.

Special Effects:

The Princess, in her glorious beauty and strength will be wild and appears on the first reel. When doing so she tosses rose petals into the air to change other positons on the reels wild. All wins will be doubled. The number of rose petals tossed is random.
The Hero Gladiator on any positon on the third reel will see the Smash Feature triggered. This will have the Gladiator entering onto the reels and then changing all reel 3 symbols into wilds.
