Haunted House is a Playtech creation, a slot that offers 3 reels, 5 paylines and a whole lot of scary stuff inside. The vampire theme is quite obvious here, not just from the Dracula/bat influence on the logo, but also from all the objects that are used as symbols, pretty much all of them being part of the vampire folklore. The game keeps itself light when it comes to features, meaning you don’t get any. Payouts go as high as $180,000, but they require considerable investments in bets as well.

Graphics & Theme

Haunted House has a vampire theme going on, quite easily apparent and without much connection to the title. There is some kind of medieval castle or house behind the reels though, so I assume the action relates to it in some way. Though in a haunted house you would expect to find ghosts, we get bats and vampires here, so it feels like the background story isn’t that well thought out. To top things off, there is a witch on a broom flying around in the background, with no connection to the theme as far as I can tell. The game logo takes half of the top part of the screen, using the words Haunted House with bat wings on both sides and with a vampire’s head on top. The most important symbol here is the garlic, the one that awards the top jackpot. The next ones would be, in order, a cross, a coffin, a dagger, a chalice and a candle.

The game will not offer the player a chance to get any kind of bonus game or feature going. It was kept simple on purpose, offering the player a themed experience, but a classic one. The one thing you need to keep an eye on is the bet you make, recommended being to use a maximum number of coins, with the denomination being the one changed if you have to use a smaller bet. The reason is the fact that each payline offers a different payout when the top jackpot is concerned, so it’s a good idea to bet all 5 coins and get a chance at the top prize worth $180,000.
