Heads or Tails
Heads or Tails is a pretty simple game, where you just have to pick the result you think will happen in a coin toss. There is a little bit more to this game though, at least in the betting area. It’s a Playtech design, which should be a good thing but they don’t seem to have made their usual impressive game in this case.
Graphics & Theme
In an arcade game like this, it’s quite easy to figure out what is going on, but the title gives it away rather quickly. It’s a coin toss game, where the player has to place a bet on the outcome. There are a couple of extra options to liven things up, as I explain below. For now, let’s look at the design. The screen consists of the area where the coin toss is made and the betting area. The coin toss area is on a table surrounded by three friends that are having a beer and enjoying a bit of gambling on the side. It’s a crude design, the characters aren’t that attractive, but the game works as advertised. You will notice either one or two coins falling on the table and showing their final side, depending on your luck. The History bar is on the left side, allowing you to see how things went so far in the last five coin tosses.
This is a 50/50 game, so there are some extra features that the developer introduced into the betting system. One of them is the possibility of using 2 coins at the same time, selecting a possible outcome for each one. The second feature would be the buttons Flip x1, x2 and x3, meaning that you can decide in advance for the coin(s) to flip 1 to 3 times while using the same wager. It gives you the chance to get a bigger payout with the same amount wagered, but the risk is higher as well. The higher number of flips can also be done with two coins, once again raising the risk level. The payouts offered are at about 1.9 to 1, so if you wager the maximum amount of 2, you can expect up to $3.8 from a single coin toss.
You will find that Heads or Tails is a basic game, playable mostly to have a bit of fun, but with no real chance of getting rich or getting a big amount of cash from it.
