Spider-Man is not the only slot with this theme to be released, but it’s a favorite of mine and it comes with a combo of 5 reels and 25 lines. There is quite a bit of focus here on the city where our hero activates, as the player can see it easily behind the transparent reels. The city at night is an image that overpowers pretty much everything else, so it might not be the best choice in this case. The features of this slot start with the wild, the free games, bonus rounds and even multipliers.
Graphics & Theme
What makes this Spider-Man themed slot special is its focus on the comics version of the franchise, not on the movies. Every single bit of the design is taken out of the comic book, so you will have the various characters drawn in that way, instead of getting photos of actors that played those roles. There is even a Spider-Man collection in the game, with various magazines and adventures of our hero. About half of the regular symbols are from the comic, while the rest are the playing cards.
Special Effects
The main feature of this game would be the Wild symbol, easily recognizable since it is marked as such. This symbol can award the top jackpot of the game, as long as you get the required five symbols on an active line. It can also substitute for the other symbols, the exception being the bonus symbol.
The Bonus symbol gives us an image of Spider-Man and it’s only going to appear on the 1st, 3rd and 5th reels. When that happens on all three reels, the player gets a shelf with comic books, with a selector that moves quickly. It stops when the player hits Stop, so that’s when he finds out what edition he won.
